HEALTH REGULATIONS
Animals showing evidence of contagious, infectious or external parasitic diseases will not be permitted entrance into the show or facilities.
The base date for computing health rules will be May 7, 2011. All animals must be in possession of necessary health certification to access the show facility.
All cattle must be accompanied by a certification of veterinary inspection certifying the animals to be free of contagious and infectious disease.
Tuberculosis and Brucellosis testing is not required of Pennsylvania origin animals.
Out of State origin animals must meet current Pennsylvania entrance requirements.
For 2010, these include:

Tuberculosis - animals must originate from a Free state or an TB accredited herd. All other animals over 15 months of age must be negative to an official tuberculin test within 60 days of the show.
2.
Brucellosis - animals must originate from a Free state and a Brucellosis certified free herd. Animals not meeting this requirement must be test negative within 30 days of the show. Vaccinated heifers less than 14 months of age and steers are exempt from the test requirement.
All cattle shall be vaccinated in the current show year against the respiratory complex (shipping fever complex, including IBR & BVD), not less than 20 days prior to the show, but within the past 6 months. The use of antiserums will not be accepted.

TOP PA STEER AND TOP PA HEIFER
Exhibitor/Owner must be PA Resident
The Top PA Steer and Heifer will be selected based on overall placings.
The highest placing PA animal in the Overall Champion drive will be the automatic Top PA animal. If no PA animal is selected in the Top 4, a separate show will be held to determine the Top PA Steer, immediately following the Overall Steer show and to determine the Top PA Heifer, immediately following the Overall Heifer Show
